The IT Support Technician at Tacos 4 Life will play a huge role in supporting the technological infrastructure of our restaurants. The technology team’s goal is to utilize technology to increase the performance of our team in the restaurants. We do this by ensuring all equipment is working properly, supporting the team when issues arise, and implementing new technologies to increase sales and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

New Store Openings

• Responsible for ISP selection, tech setup/coordination, and site testing to ensure a smooth opening of a new location

Point of Sale Administration

• Maintaining the menu on our Point of Sale
• Supporting Point of Sale issues and outages
• Configuring changes to our Point of Sale structure

User Account Management

• Perform onboarding and offboarding of users
• Maintain access levels
• Manage our Google Suite account
• Major Service Management
• Collaborate with our 3rd party solutions to ensure seamless integration with our technology structure. This includes our online ordering platform, our loyalty application, and other solutions.

IT Support

• Provide technical support for restaurants and corporate office. This includes support for Windows and Apple devices.
• Support our networking infrastructure both in the restaurants and at the corporate office.
• Respond to support requests through a ticketing system in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Ability to self-teach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid knowledge of Windows, IOS, and Google Suite applications
