IT Vendor Management - Remote

Role Overview:

We are starting up a new Technology Services Vendor Management Office. This role is reporting to the leader of Business Planning and Execution. The successful candidate will help define our vendor management strategy and drive designing and deployment of the program. You will be responsible for aligning and maintaining Technology Services’ strategic goals with the department’s vendor portfolio. Job responsibilities include analyzing and anticipating the department’s future needs and developing high-quality strategic relationships with new and existing vendors with access to emerging intellectual property and technological innovation. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, and carrying out, processes for effective contracting, financial control, vendor performance management, and compliance of third parties operating domestically and internationally.

This is a remote position based in the United States. We will only consider candidates in the United States, and we are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

• Conduct effective supplier segmentation activities in order to optimize relationship building activities and maximize value to the organization.
• Rationalize Technology Services’ supply base as needed to reduce unnecessary duplication.
• Ensure appropriate risk profile for IT vendors and assist with risk mitigation plans for critical suppliers.
• Work cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and other internal business units on supplier related issues.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and executive briefings with strategic and key suppliers.
• Develop, measure, and report key success metrics (operational and strategic) to leadership.
• Contribute to annual budget process and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement from suppliers.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and the companies leading innovation that can benefit Technology Services and McAfee through early adopter programs, beta testing, and long-term business relationships.
• Set and maintain a calendar of key vendor contract dates with associated spend, risk mitigation, and strategy.
• Serve as point of contact for vendor management inquiries and issue resolution.
