Stryker Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a mid-sized Hunterdon County, NJ HVAC company and are seeking experienced HVAC service technicians due to company growth.Most of our work is in Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset, Morris counties as well as into the Lehigh Valley.

We are looking for people in the air conditioning, heating field who are highly technical, motivated individuals and take pride in their work, with a positive attitude. These service technicians must be customer-focused, reliable and trustworthy .

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in refrigeration cycle issues.

Must understand the theory of refrigeration and what occurs within a system

Ability to read electrical schematics

EPA certification

Ability to diagnose problems caused by air-flow issues and the effects of air flow in a system

Damper systems, zoning experience is a plus

Must be willing to participate in continuing education.

Be able to systematically and logically arrive at the proper diagnosis on each service call.

We supply the major tools needed to be effective.

Additionally:

Must recognize the nature of our industry that when peak demand hits, the days will be longer. Also on-call rotation is required for emergencies, which is on a rotation basis. We compensate for being on call, and try to limit after-hours calls to contract customers only. During infrequent slower periods, must be willing to help plumbing or installation departments as workload dictates. This way work is completed where, and as needed. Must be drug-free with a clean driving and criminal record and be able to maintain a clean, organized and stocked company service van.
