Long Term Care is looking for a (Travel) LPN in UT for a 13 week assignment. Candidates with active UT license preferred. Facility will only accept out of state candidates. Our facility is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide assistance to residents of the nursing home in their daily activities. This will require assisting with exercise and physical rehabilitation as well as providing assistance with bathing, dressing and other daily needs. We are looking for a compassionate individual who is diligent and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient's verbal and physical cues and needs, using sound clinical judgment and basic life support principles.
• Monitor and document patient's physical and emotional condition.
• Assist physician with examinations and tests of patient.
• Gather vital signs for documentation purposes.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Apply dressing and bandages, using appropriate sterile procedure.
• Exchange clean linens for soiled ones in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Assist physician in establishing care plan for patient.
• Report any changes in patient's condition to physician or charge nurse.
• Provide assistance with bathing patients as directed by physician or charge nurse.
