Materials Specialist - CDC

This is a full-time, third shift position with 9 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. hours. This position will allow you to:

· Maintain and manage inventory for non-expired patent care supplies in clinical and non-clinical areas.

· Utilize inventory management technology and processes to maintain, order and restock patient care supplies.

· Employ best practices for inventory controls and stocking to ensure The Joint Commission and other regulatory agency standards are consistently met.

The successful candidate should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be able to work independently with an attention to detail. This position requires frequent physical work associated with stocking, including standing, reaching, moving and lifting materials that weigh 20 pounds. We are seeking candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should be able to work flexible, rotating shifts as needed.
