Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a BC or BE Neuro-hospitalist to join in Temple, Texas.

Position Highlights

• Join an established neurology practice to work as a neuro-hospitalist.
• Willingness to begin working in the clinic and work a flexible schedule is desired until the service is full and evolves to a dedicated inpatient role.
• The schedule is to be determined (may begin as weekday only and evolve to 7 on/7 off based on volume)
• This is a teaching service (resident coverage) comprised of a neurology resident, off-service residents and rotating medical students

Program Highlights

• The Department of Neurology at Baylor Scott & White Health in Central Texas is currently comprised of 25 neurologists, 6 APPs, and 5 neuropsychologists, along with nursing and administrative support.
• Academic affiliation with Texas A&M College of Medicine to teach medical students and residents.
• Active ACGME approved neurology residency program

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine

• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

- Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
