• Centra is actively seeking a full-time epileptologist to join our outpatient epilepsy clinic in Lynchburg, VA.
• Responsibility includes inpatient EMU. Night and weekend EEGs are interpreted by a team at the University of Virginia.
• No call.
• Director-level position broken down into 0.1 FTE Administrative and 0.9 FTE Clinical.
• Monday – Friday schedule with a volume of 15-18 patients/day.
• Neurology Program including a dedicated Neuro ICU/step-down, 24/7 intensivist support, and prolonged EEG monitoring at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital (Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center).
• Dedicated Headache Center, Movement Disorders Center, and Multiple Sclerosis Clinic in addition to other neuromuscular services.

• Completion of medical degree and residency training in Family Medicine.
• MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
