Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assembler I will complete assembly of mechanical and electrical components as assigned by production supervisor. This role follows work instructions closely to ensure that quality standards are met and documentation requirements are followed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts following work instructions as trained
• Use hand and power tools to fit and adjusts part to meet the assembly requirements of the product
• Document assembly test results and process completion
• Identify quality issues and defects and raise to supervisor or manufacturing engineer
• Understand and follow job safety procedures and use / wear proper PPE
• Responsible for upholding daily production goals, quality, safety and 5S standards
• May train new associates
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Read, comprehend and follow assembly work instructions
• Ability to log onto a computer to access training documents, work instructions and MSDS
• Able to meet physical requirements of the job: lift up to 35 pounds and complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds. Push or pull containers. Repetitive bending and stooping, prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting. May require occasional overhead lifting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of assembly in manufacturing environment

Target Market Salary Range:
