Job description
Our organization is seeking an experienced and caring Personal Care Assistant who will work closely with both patients and their families to ensure quality care, customer service and complete wellness. The ideal candidate for this position has knowledge of home care and hospice techniques, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is capable of taking direction well.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming.
- Help clients dress and undress.
- Help clients bathe, wash, and dry their hair.
- Help clients go to the bathroom.
- Help clients eat and drink.
- Help clients move about and transfer from bed to wheelchair or chair.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Communicate with health care providers.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Davenport, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
