Pay: $17.50 starting wage (+ $2 shift differential for hours worked between 6pm - 6am. Additional pay opportunity through our Pay For Skills program)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 hour shifts)

3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am

Job Summary:

At SunButter, we’re committed to making delicious tasting sunflower butter made with simple ingredients, free from the top 8 food allergens, and containing more vitamins & minerals than most nut butters! As a Production Associate you are responsible for the packaging of SunButter, including machine operations, case packaging, palletizing, and quality checks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate, adjust, and maintain production & packaging equipment to meet quality standards.
• Ensure sufficient packaging materials are on hand to ensure no interruption in production.
• Removes spilt or rejected product and recycles in appropriate methods.
• Understands and complies with all current GMP, safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain quality standards by sampling product and comparing with established standards
• Use knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to storage of food product in performance of all duties
• Mentor other staff and assist shift lead to keep production moving and staff on task.

Qualifications:

• Previous packaging, food production, other line experience or similar training/experience, (Preferred).
• Food manufacturing machine operation experience (Preferred)
• Experience operating a forklift (Preferred)
• Previous line lead, shift lead, or other leadership experience (Preferred)
• Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control in work where product quality is of the highest priority.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and teamwork orientated
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
