Major Responsibilities
Performs an or all of the duties listed below:
1. HACCP Checks
2. USDA net weights, SIS compliance and chiller moisture
3. Marination and mechanically separated poultry partial quality control programs
4. Customer-specific quality checks
5. Chill pack quality checks
6. Deboned product quality
· These quality checks must be completed at scheduled time intervals.
· Notifying supervision about nonconforming products
· Performs other duties as directed by QC Supervisor
Position Requirements
In addition to meeting the requirements for new employees, the employee must also meet the following requirements:
1. Ability to read and interpret calculators, scales and thermometers.
2. Ability to perform addition, subtractions, multiplication, division, fraction and percentage operations.
3. Knowledge of pounds, ounces, kilograms, grams and other graduations of weight, volume and length.
4. Ability to work with others.
5. Ability to work long and/or varied hours.
6. Persons working the areas below must be able to lift heavy weights up to 40lbs.
