Droisys is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with our Direct client in San Francisco CA.

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA 94111

Contract: Long term

Note, this is a hybrid with 2 to 3 days in office.

Note : Banking Domain Experience is required.

What you’ll do as a Sr. QA Engineer:

• Perform Quality Assurance of critical Bank applications, systems, and services through independent testing to ensure business and technology requirements are met prior to production implementation.

• Prepare test strategy, test plan, test cases, and setup test data.

• Map business and technology requirements to test cases, objectives, steps, and expected results.

• Conduction regression and non-functional testing e.g. usability, availability/reliability, data integrity, adherence to Bank policy and standards, performance, scalability, capacity, interoperability between internal and external systems, auditing.

• Conduct fallback / rollback testing to ensure system can be restored to last known good state.

• Perform test execution, record and report test results. Report defects for issues identified during testing and track them to resolution.

• Perform validation testing to ensure production implementation meets business and technology requirements.

• Meet established deadlines.

Qualifications

You could be a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in testing IT-Software/ Software products.

• Exhibit a good understanding of Quality Assurance best practices.

• Expertise in managing a full test cycle - defining test strategy, creating test plans, preparing test cases and test data setup.

• Experienced managing test cases in Jira.

• Good communication skills.

• Can work independently (self-start) and can also work in a team environment.

• Experience working with outside vendors.
