Quality Control Inspector-2nd Shift
**1,000 Sign on Bonus**

Norwood Sales Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Highly diligent candidate with excellent attention to detail for the roll in a Quality Control Inspector.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

· Measure parts and assemblies with the necessary tools (tape measures, calipers, etc.) and determine if they are in or out of tolerance

· Complete necessary inspection documentation accurately and completely

· Document non-conforming work and products

· Communicate non-conforming work and products to the appropriate area Supervisor based on severity and priority

· Ensure non-conforming work and products are dispositioned and/or reworked appropriately

· Visually inspect weld quality for porosity, undercut, spatter, etc.

· Positively coach fabricators and welders on how to improve weld quality when discontinuities are created

· Regular attendance and punctuality

· Other duties as assigned to support daily operations and QC

Strong Candidates will need the following Qualifications and Skills:

· High school diploma or GED

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a welder

· Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols

· Basic mathematical skills to add and subtract fractions and decimals

· Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS’s) is desired

· Effective communication

· Team Player

· Self-Motivated

Hours for this position will be on 2nd Shift working 4:30pm to 3:00am.
