MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Performs In-Process quality control inspections.
 Uses typical inspection hand tools such as: calipers, measuring tape, angle finders, levels.
 Reads, and interprets manufacturing drawings.
 Reads and adheres to quality control procedures and standards.
 Generates non-conformance reports as necessary.
 NCR resolution.
 Performs other duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to Quality Manager. Coordinates activities with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCE, VALUES:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Good organizational skills. Good written and verbal
communication skills. Experience with ISO or equivalent quality standards preferred. Experience in
similar manufacturing industry preferred, but not required, due to on the job training. Expected to
demonstrate compatibility with ASC’s stated Team Values that include working safely, possessing a
positive attitude, demonstrating leadership, showing an eagerness to learn, being a team player,
working efficiently and demonstrating a focus on producing quality work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following requirements are essential for safe performance of this job:
 Must be able to repeatedly lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and twist at the waist.
 Must be able to frequently push and pull objects weighing 50 lbs.
 Must be able to stand, sit, walk, squat, kneel, and lie on level, uneven and slippery concrete
surfaces.
 Must be able to reach through low and high ranges and exhibit normal balance and
coordination.
 Must be able to sit and stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time lasting up to 10 hours.
 Manual dexterity for the use of common tools is required.

 Must be able to climb stairs and ladders using 3 points of contact.
 Must be capable of working in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
 Color vision, hearing, and vision must be in normal ranges.
 Must be able to pass a Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment that is not air-conditioned and has
exposure to noise and dust/particles caused by welding and other fabrication activities associated with
the production of industrial process equipment. PPE will be required including hard hats, steel-toed
shoes, protective glasses and ear protection. Additional protective devices are available when
appropriate for a given task including protective gloves, back braces, dust masks or respirators.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
