RECRUITING ASSISTANT/ RECRUITER I
FUNCTION: Exercise independent judgment to recruit, hire, and supervise Field Associates; access client needs, Field Associates’ skills and capabilities, and match clients with the right Field Associates; provide marketing support and client development to further the client’s general business goals and satisfy customers.
REPORTS TO: Senior Staffing Consultant or Strategic Partner
WHAT IS THE BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB?
- To develop repeat and referral business by filling clients’ needs with the appropriate FieldAssociates.
- To maintain an inventory of qualified available Field Associates through consistent, creative recruiting.
- Screening, evaluating, interviewing, and hiring Field Associates.
- Always pursue excellence in quality to ensure a standard of service for the clients and supplemental employees.
- Develop business with current clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *RECRUITING AND RETENTION OF FIELD ASSOCIATES - PHASE 1 - First 30 days
- Exercise independent judgment to recruit, hire and supervise Field Associates.
- Attend job fairs and networking functions to develop client relationships and screen, evaluate, and interview potential Field Associates.
- Conduct new-hire orientations and supervise and direct new Field Associates.
- Respond to relevant Field Associate questions via Sense messaging during and outside of normal business hours.
- Learn the entire onboarding process and backup OA when needed.
- To direct clients with job order requests to Staffing Consultants, Account Managers, or Strategic-Partner. Take basic information when SC, AM, or SP is not available
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/ colleges etc
- To qualify new leads that are parsed to the ATS
- To do a minimum of 80 recruiting calls weekly
- To telephone screen/pre-interview a minimum of 50 prospective Field Associates weekly
- Schedule candidates for interviews.
- Follow-up on new lead Mobile Apply's within the ATS.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc
- Screen candidate's resume and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
*CLIENT SERVICE - PHASE 2 - 31+ DAYS
- Assess clients’ needs, Field Associates’ capabilities, and match clients with the right Field Associates.
- Orient Field Associates with their specific assignments.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction and meet the clients’ business needs.
*BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (RECRUITER II)- PHASE 2 - 31+ DAYS
- Develop business by networking and building relationships with companies that may require our services.
- Market Field Associates to clients and prospective clients.
*COMMUNICATION / TEAM / SYSTEM (RECRUITER II) - PHASE 2 - 31+ DAYS
- Maintain communications with Sales Associates.
- Awareness of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to employment practice.
- Manage and maintain Field Associates’ and clients’ files.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- AA is preferred but can be substituted for a similar experience.
- H.S. diploma or GED is required of all employees
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and email software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Read, write and communicate fluently in English.
- Interpret documents, safety rules, and operating and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion according to company policy.
- Exercise common sense and discretion to meet company goals.
- Independently solve problems involving clients and/or Field Associates.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is a desk job and no manual labor is required. However, certain physical demands incidental to an office environment will be incurred. - Ability to perform frequent/constant sedentary work for 4 – 10 hours.
- Walking occasionally 0 – 3 hours.

PRODUCTIVITY METRICS: Productivity is the amount of work an employee accomplishes in a specific amount of time, such as a workday or week. Productivity is often measured using numbers. The below defines the expected metrics to be deemed as satisfactorily performing within the first 90 days on a weekly basis for each of the tasks listed. (Metrics can and often will change depending on the length of time in position and company need)
*PHASE ONE METRICS
- RECRUITING CALLS: 80 or more weekly
- INTERVIEWS: 50 or more weekly
- NEW LEADS: 100 or more weekly
- INSIDE SALES CALLS: 50 or more weekly
- APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULED: 3 monthly
*PHASE TWO METRICS
- RECRUITING CALLS: 50 or more weekly
- INTERVIEWS: 30 or more weekly
- MPC CALLS: 15 or more weekly
- PLACEMENTS: 15 monthly
- NEW HIRES: 20 WEEKLY
- APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULED: 8 monthly
