The location of this position is open to any area where a NSG facility is located.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and disseminate best practice maintenance reliability methods within OENA operations
• Regional leader for related Global Manufacturing Excellence initiatives (Maintenance and Energy)
• Develop core competencies with plant technical leadership (engineers, supervisors, group leaders)
• Create and initiate maintenance technician training, certification, and apprenticeship program for OENA operations
• Optimize and reduce regional maintenance spares and related working capital
• Identify regional obsolescence risk developing a mitigation plan for each budget year
• Recommend related technical targets for regional budget
• Monitor equipment technical downtime as it relates to reliability effectiveness
• Administrate application and use of Maintenance & Spares SAP system
• Lead technical related facility task force improvement initiatives as identified

Scope/Dimensions:

• Ensure attainment of regional budgeted Maintenance expense of $10M USD
• Manage targeted reduction of $15M USD in stores inventory
• Oversee capital spending on Maintenance, Obsolescence, and Sustainability - $3M annual spend
• Liaison and influence plant leadership – Plant Manager and Group Leaders
• Communicate and inform regional/global leadership – Regional and Global Directors

Travel

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for several hours, and sit for several hours.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• 5-7+ years of progressive leadership in engineering/technical field
• Six-Sigma training
• Knowledge of maintenance reliability systems

Qualifications Desired:

• Six-Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Experience in a regional or central management position
