Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

• Oversees and ensures timely and appropriate care is provided for a specified group of residents for whom the Resident Care Coordinator - RN/LPN is responsible
• Coordinates the scheduling of caregivers, resident assessments, and monitors and coordinates other healthcare providers for this select group of residents to ensure appropriate care is provided in a dignified and caring manner

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license and up-to-date CPR certification
• If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacity
• Experience in nursing supervision and care coordination preferred
• Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2p-10p (both office and floor hours)

Base Wage: $30.00/hr (RN) and $27.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

2nd Shift Differential: $2.00/hr (Mon-Fri), $4.00/hr (Sat-Sun)
