Job description

• Responsible for in-depth knowledge of all kitchen and bar menu items, terminology; liaison for guests
• Passionate about and respectful for locally sourced ingredients
• Greets guests, takes orders, serves food and beverage; ensures all guests experience upmost satisfaction with dining experience
• Effectively communicates flow-of-service, beverage and food requests with applicable staff including bar manager, general manager, executive chefs, garde manger, and/or other servers
• Ability to multi-task, listen and effectively communicate with guests
• Determines pace of dining experience on table by table basis, based on assessment of guests
• Ensures highest quality dining experience including prompt greeting of table, continual water service, prompt beverage and meal delivery
• Works as liaison between restaurant guests and bar and kitchen staff
• Responsible for complete preparation of guest checks and accepts payment. Responsible for accurate payment collection to restaurant.
• Works well as a team
• Trained in TIPS service.

3 years' experience required in front of house operations. Fine dining service knowledge preferred. Required to be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, remain on your feet for several hours, and work under pressure.
