Dalco, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, is hiring a talented
Sales Manager to join our Sales team in Duluth, MN! We are searching for an accomplished Sales Manager to provide leadership direction and supervision to sales force of our highest grossing sales teams within our Dalco Division. Sales Managers at Imperial Dade support field sales personnel by identifying opportunities and providing solutions. Maintain direct line of communication between management and sales personnel in support of company initiatives. Maintain relationship with key and potential new Dalco customers.

You will:
- Direct and support Account Managers throughout the sales process to insure additional profitable sales, long term customer retention and product selection that parallels company Core Values.
- Evaluate all Account Managers in respects to achieving the desired results within specific time frames.
- Develop good working knowledge of Storefront (eCommerce) and Vision (CRM) and promote use of these technologies to Account Managers in the field.
- Establish and maintain viable sales pipeline through CRM opportunity tool.
- Investigate and identify potential new customers and markets and verticals
- Responsible for executing training criteria for new sales reps.
- Distribute and follow up all sales leads utilizing CRM opportunity tool.
- Develop ongoing relationship with Dalco’s top fifty accounts in your territory
- Coordinate monthly/bi-monthly team meetings.
- Coordinate Account Manager participation in all training seminars, meetings and workshops.
- Collect and investigate competitive activities and communicate to appropriate Account Managers and Dalco management.
- Assist all customers with problem resolutions relating to shipping, pricing, billing, representation.
- Recommend potential sales personnel levels within regional area for approval by Director of Sales.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key vendors.
- Oversee/assist in quotes and bids.
- Recommend potential sales promotions, workshops and seminars for approval by Director of Sales.
- Be keenly aware of margins. Be able to identify margin losses and ways to increase margins.
- Attend monthly Company sales meetings to ensure Account Manager’s knowledge of updates of vendor products and equipment.
- Assist Credit Department with credit applications, collections and general follow up.
- Display a courteous and helpful attitude resulting in a positive experience for our customers.
- Promptly follows up with customer after complaint to ensure they are satisfied with the action that was taken.
- Recommend potential departmental changes and improvements.
- Assist all customer support departments in resolution of the customer problems and satisfaction of needs.
- Responsible for communicating and implementing technology improvements in the field as it pertains to your Account Managers.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years sales experience in a janitorial distribution business or equivalent.
- One or more years supervisory experience
- Utilize personal vehicle to service customers and ensure required automobile insurance maintained. Provide copy of insurance certificate as requested. Valid driver’s license required.
- Efficient with Microsoft products, internet, outlook, etc.
- Proven ability to develop strong customer base and extensive product knowledge.
- Demonstrate managerial skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work varied hours.
- Perform demos with equipment and products.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication as well as problem solving skills.
