THE JOB

As part of a dynamic team, you are responsible for the delivery of high-value solutions and service to our clients by negotiating and structuring commercial terms and pricing for domestic and international Trade Credit Insurance policies. The individual in this position will foster impactful relationships with, Commercial Teams (Direct Sales and Brokers), as well as liaise with Risk Underwriting Team, Information, Organization and Claims employees as needed to achieve local, Regional and Group objectives. Reporting to the Regional Senior Vice President of Commercial Underwriting you will perform the following:

· Providing Commercial Underwriting pricing and structuring recommendations to the Commercial Regional teams and Brokers for our multinational business via Coface Global Solutions (CGS) and our Financial Institutions (FI) business (New & Renewal).

· Will assist in the Commercial Underwriting for Coface Premium Service (CPS) business (New & Renewal) for the NAR Region.

· Ensuring New Business and Renewal quotations are completed in a timely fashion within profitability requirements.

· Apply sound negotiating skills in the acquisition of and retention of clients through active communications with relevant sales channels, including brokers and sales executives.

· Build strong internal relationships at local and regional level to help drive profitability.

· Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with various divisions within Coface to achieve objectives.

· Identify growth via cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

THE CANDIDATE

· 5-10 years of Trade Credit Insurance experience.

· International corporate environment: previous experience in a matrixed, dynamic organization, Commercial Underwriting Expertise: Traditional TCI product.

· Strong customer service orientation with focus on providing solutions.

· Strong organizational skillset.

· Commercial or risk management experience is highly desirable.

· Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Ability to act both collaboratively, as well as independently.

· Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Suite of Products).

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance and/or equivalent.
