Salary Information
$55,000 - $65,000

Department Summary
We create solutions for a healthier community by fostering an environmentally friendly, well-maintained, safe place to work and learn. We are dedicated to providing services to the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth by maintaining an environment that is conducive to learning, teaching, and research. Our departments include Central Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, and the UNTHSC Police department.

Position Overview
The responsibilities of the Senior Executive Assistant include but are not limited to:
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Providing administrative support for executives
  • Maintaining compliance with all departmental and institutional policies and procedures
  • Facilitating any special requests

Additional Posting Details

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at an exemplary level
  • Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
  • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
  • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Job Duties

o
Manage and direct office services, such as records, departmental finances, budget preparation, personnel issues, and housekeeping, to aid executives.


o
Facilitate special requests for executives.


o
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software.


o
Review and analyze budget reports, prepare and develop budget modifications and recommendations.


o
Attend meetings to record minutes.


o
Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.


o
Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.


o
Make travel arrangements for executives.

o
Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons for committee, board, and other meetings.
