Overview:
Manages the annual internal audit plan, reviews performance and updates the plan as needed to assure that adequate internal control processes are in place to safeguard System assets. Examines, evaluates and reviews various financial and operational activities within the System in order to safeguard assets, assure adherence to established policies and procedures, evaluate adequacy of internal controls, and promote overall efficiency. Assists in determining compliance with external regulations, collecting and analyzing data for special projects, issuing recommendations for System improvements, providing assistance to external auditors, performing surprise cash counts and other cash control activities, and assisting in the annual physical inventory process. The partner is often required to drive to different facilities. Responsibilities:
- Full-time / 1.0 FTE / 80 hours biweekly
- Day shift / 8a-4:30p
- Monday - Friday / No weekends or holidays

- Assist the Director of Internal Audit in performing internal audit and corporate compliance duties.
- Assist with cash control duties.
- Perform surprise cash counts.
- Assist with annual physical inventory process.
- Perform audits and reviews as directed.
- Assist with corporate compliance activities.
- Ability to assign project to others
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business administration with concentration in accounting or other related area preferred.
Minimum 5 years audit experience in health care industry preferred
