Description: Conducts sales efforts with prospects for all levels of care within the community to meet and exceed budgeted occupancy while ensuring customer satisfaction. Assists in identifying opportunities to promote partnerships with professional and referral sources.
Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales activity and performance metrics as established by Lutheran Life Communities
  • Optimize occupancy by qualifying appropriate candidates and matching to vacancies through collaboration with other sales team members
  • Provide ongoing, effective, and timely follow-up with all prospects through outbound calls, appointments/tours, home visits, community events, and other tactics as appropriate to meet or exceed occupancy goals.
  • Responsible for collecting and completing accurate residency applications including supporting documentation for prospective residents.
  • Participate in department meetings to discuss tactics and strategy for lead generation and lead conversion.
  • Assists in creating interest in Lutheran Life Communities through participation in Sales events on and off campus
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the written marketing plan based on prospect feedback and competitor trends.
  • Timely and accurate documentation of all sales activity in the CRM (Customer Relation Management Software) to advance the sales process with each prospect.
  • Coordinate with prospects, family members, caregivers and other professional providers to ensure a successful move to the Community.
  • Refer prospects, current residents/patients and former residents/patients to Lutheran Life Communities’ services whenever appropriate.
  • Ensure proactive and effective communication of critical information to the appropriate interdisciplinary team prior to move in to facilitate a positive experience for each resident and family.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable licensing regulations adhering to directives from all licensing and regulatory agencies
  • Encourage and respect prospect's rights especially that of self-determination, while meeting prospect’s physical, emotional and social needs.
  • Ensure confidentiality relative to regular and consistent communication that is provided for the prospect, family and others concerned with the prospect's care.
  • Exercise quality use of time management as evidenced by the ability to work highly independently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and admissions or sales experience preferably in, senior living, long term healthcare, skilled care, senior community based services or related field.
