Job description

The Opportunity

SAFE Commanding Heights is a nonpartisan initiative dedicated to advancing reliable sourcing – and reducing unsustainable dependencies – for products and materials essential to America’s energy, transportation, and national security needs. Today, SAFE provides a centralized vision and support for five core projects, each led by an Executive Director – the Electrification Coalition (a separate legal entity), the Commanding Heights Initiative, the Coalition for Reimagined Mobility (www.reimaginedmobility.org), the Grid Security Project, and the Autonomous Vehicle Center.

The American Semiconductor Center is a new organization under the Commanding Heights umbrella that aims to strengthen the U.S. and allied semiconductor ecosystem and safeguard our economic and national security at a time of market change and strategic competition. We are building on the passage of the landmark CHIPS and Science Act to help chart the way ahead to ensure America’s continued global leadership in semiconductor technology, spur domestic chip production, and reduce our dependence on vulnerable overseas supply chains.

The Senior Policy Analyst will report to the Director, American Semiconductor Center.
