Job description
Major Responsibilities:Implements simulation scenarios/programs in conjunction with simulation facilitators. This includes but is not limited to set up, tear down, programming of equipment, and basic maintenance of equipment.
Preserves equipment utilized in simulation training. This includes troubleshooting of equipment; manikin and instructor laptops/tablets.
Maintains cleanliness and order of specialized equipment and supplies.
Resupplies inventory and equipment as necessary.
Maintains proficiency in existing and emerging simulation technologies.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.
Education Required:
Associate's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Organizational Development or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 2 years of experience in health care simulation operations, technology/technician field or clinical experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented.
Flexible with changing priorities.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Ability to travel to various Advocate Aurora Health facilities.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations.
Ability to work as a member of a diverse team.
Clear and concise verbal communication.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to move equipment and learning materials (up to 50lbs).
Exposed to a normal office environment
Position requires travel and exposure to road and weather hazards.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
