Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine Mechanic to service outdoor equipment such as ATV's, UTV's, snowmobiles, lawnmowers, chainsaws, etc. A good candidate is able to diagnose and repair problems rapidly, prioritize jobs, self motivated as well as the ability to communicate with our team.

Hours would be Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 40hrs/week

Pay is based on experience and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in small engine repair and be willing to continue to learn.
• Must have own "basic" tools (specialty tools will be provided).
• Knowledge of outdoor equipment repair and maintenance.
• Proficient with oral and written communication.
• Computer knowledge needed to write repair orders and search for parts.
• Ability to estimate time needed for each job.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

• Valid, clean driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on small engine equipment.
• Complete repair orders.
• Maintain current product knowledge of brands we service/sell, i.e. Arctic Cat, Husqvarna, Simplicity, Dixie Chopper, etc.
• Maintain a clean work space.
• Account for all time, parts and supplies used in each job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
