Job description
- Track Aging funds disbursed by county and type of funds for year-end reconcilement to GL records;
- Update building layout for cost allocation, generate monthly space, utility and renovation cost allocation;
- Prepare and code numerous internal billings for proper allocation to expense and grants including postage, software, copy costs, and utilities;
- Perform monthly bank, general ledger, and inventory reconciliation
- Assist with funding source and agency wide audits
- Process volunteer time & mileage report (A/P) + mailing checks and direct deposits confirmations
- Maintain fixed assets system including entry and disposal of equipment, annual inventory reconciliation, and supporting documentation
- Prepare required expense reports and cash requests for grants, use funding source websites to submit data, maintain monthly reporting data and provide feedback to internal management and external funders
- Update internal Accounting page of NEMCSA SharePoint site to include relevant and up to date information, policies, and reports
- Serve as backup for Accounts Payable and assist with employee Payroll processing
- Monthly reporting and reconciliation of CSFP & TEFAP (food programs), inventory tracking and distribution values, and year-end reporting
- Process and maintain Purchase Orders for all divisions
- Assist Accounting staff with various functions / projects
- Review grant contracts/financial obligations and reporting requirements to ensure proper reporting and spending

What We’ll Love About You:
An Associate’s Degree in Accounting or business and a minimum of one year accounting experience in data processing, processing, and spreadsheet applications is required. General accounting and/or bookkeeping skills are preferred. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business is preferred.
