ZLA has a client in Auburn, AL looking to direct hire for a Stitching Production Technician
Ressponsible:
Ensuring that automation process conditions are optimized to yield good quality product at the standard cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Must have an adequate background in mechanics
- Responsible for conducting root cause analysis to determine the cause of non-conforming material
- Responsible for completing check sheets and other paperwork required in the stitching area
Quality:
- Must understand and follow the Quality Management System, including but not limited to IATF16949 certification
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
Scheduling
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow the Production Schedule
Production
- Responsible for machine setup, maintenance issues, troubleshooting of equipment and machinery problems
- Responsible for notifying maintenance of maintenance issues and will assist maintenance as necessary to make repairs
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Work well under production pressures
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized

Education and Experience
Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Injection molding experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Injection Molding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
