Black River Memorial Hospital has an opening for a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Services Department. The position is:

• Part-time, benefited, day shift working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per pay period, with the possibility to increase hours as we grow our surgical services.

This position plans and provides comprehensive patient care and manages available nursing resources and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.

Essential Duties:

• · Provides individualized patient and family-focused care in the hospital setting.
• · Documents according to established standards.
• · Completes patient assessment, determines interventions, and evaluates response.
• · Participates in patient and family education as evidenced by teaching documentation with appropriate resources.

Educational Qualifications:

• · Bachelor of Science, Associate’s degree in Nursing or Diploma RN. BSN preferred
• · BLS within 3 months
• · ACLS within 1- year
• · Current licensed Wisconsin RN
