TERRITORY SERVICE SPECIALIST

Bane-Welker is an industry leader in service. With a large service department at the heart of the business it is important to support the needs of the business sector. The Territory Service Specialist will support three dealerships service departments. This includes Technicians, Service Managers, and Assistant Service Managers with fostering relationships company wide.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate personnel to ensure properly staffed for workflow year round
  • Assist service department in managing open documents
  • Ensure technicians are in the appropriate trucks for the responsibility assigned
  • Manage training needs including certifications and enrollment
  • Analyze performance in the service department to suggest inefficiencies improvements
  • Develop marketing and service plans centralized around SIP (Specialized Inspection Program)
  • Diligently work to meet budget and goals assigned to the service department
  • Evaluate the SSA assigned and identify service potential
  • Collaborate with Territory General Manager on continual evaluation of the service department.
  • Develop Service Manager financials/profitability knowledge
  • Assist Service Manager to create a strategic plan on service becoming more profitable
  • Assist Service Managers with individual development plans
  • Ensure Service Managers develop and manage customer relationships
  • Implement a technician management plan for the department
  • Manage and increase SIP sales with strategic direction provided
  • Develop time management and scheduling skills with Service Managers
  • Support road technicians with implementation of remote dispatching
  • Train employees on full capability of warranty, DIS, and Service Echo
  • Set and maintain goal relevant to application and hay/forage equipment
Requirements of Position:
  • Understand productivity and efficiency rates for coaching opportunities utilizing scorecards
  • Follow standard operating procedures through all departments
  • Financial literacy with management of expenses and financial reporting
  • Selling skills with specific tactics for service including warranty utilization
  • Knowledge of warranty process, DIS, and Service Echo with ability to train
  • Focus on people with positive attitude
  • Travel is open and flexible
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
  • Work is performed in an office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
