WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
USA Job Function Description: Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and updating electronic data systems in accordance with the needs of the company. Activities include evaluating, scheduling and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, writing, testing and maintaining computer programs, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit and component testing. Essential Functions/Responsibilty Statements: Contributes to identification of the solutioning for the Target Operating Models and business roadmap. Works closely with the business to develop the integrated delivery plan for the associated technology roadmap. Ensures effective communication, such that there is the ability to facilitate timely and accurate decision-making with the business. Directs systems and sub-systems enhancement, package implementation and custom development projects as assigned. Guides development and implementation of these application systems in accordance with planned business results, time frames and budgets. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Work Experience: 12-15 years ; IT Project Management, Development Team Management and/or Application Portfolio Management. Skills and Abilities: Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments Knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures Demonstrated knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations Demonstrated relationship management and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed Quality management skills Diversity & EEO Statements: At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams. Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
