VetMED is looking for motivated Assistants to join our Surgery team.
Surgery Assistant. VetMED is an AAHA-accredited specialty referral and emergency hospital with a thriving specialty Surgery service comprised of 2 surgeons and an experienced and collaborative support team. Our Surgery department is dedicated to advancing veterinary care and supporting the highest quality veterinary medicine in the Valley.
We are looking for a motivated assistant to join our surgery team. Daily functions would focus on OR set-up/breakdown, instrument cleaning, pack preparation and sterilization procedures. Motivated candidates will also be trained to assist with patient induction, prep, and positioning in the surgery suites along with scrub nurse responsibilities.
We are looking for individuals with a solid work ethic, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, a great attention to detail, and who enjoy working on a strong team.
