KMI Zeolite, Inc. is a mining company in Amargosa Valley near Pahrump in Southern Nevada. The company has a dynamic portfolio of operating, expansion, and growth projects in the industry. We are looking for a skilled and driven Welder to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and equipment. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are properly maintained and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Reliable means of transportation are a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing equipment etc.

• Install appliances and equipment

• Conduct tasks such as routine equipment maintenance.

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems

• Check functionality of safety systems

• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during operating hours

• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

Skills

• Experience using hand and electrical tools

• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings

• Very good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical stamina and dexterity

• Basic Mechanic knowledge.

We are a MSHA regulated facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
