Overview

Provide management oversight for Tresco’s WSMR Commissary contract project in accordance with the contract’s Performance Work Statement (PWS), the policies and practices of Tresco, laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations.

Responsibilities

This position requires that the employee read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff utilizing systems to promote performance, establish clear expectations, promote staff growth and development, provide constructive feedback, recognize success, correct undesirable work performance, focus on employee success and develop cohesive teamwork.

Assure quality control of all work and documentation produces by assigned staff.

Assure all merchandise is moved from storage area to sales floor, rotating merchandise according to contract specification.

Assure all merchandise is placed in proper shelf display area.

Supervise fronting of all stock and breakdown/removal of all cardboard.

Assure all stock overwrites are returned to designated area.

Responsible for tracking clients nightly stocking output.

Transport night work crew to and from work site.

Determine shelf stock replenishment requirement of contractor responsible line items of up to, and not to exceed 3,500 cases.

Make grocery pulls from back room or warehouse with PDED.

Receives, stores, equipment, materials, supplies merchandise and food stuffs.

Compile stock records of items in stockroom and warehouse.

Verifies receipt of items, fills orders from stock.

Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.

Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.

Adjust inventory counts and stock reorders.

Cut stock to sure fill orders.

Make stock pulls for day and night stocking crew.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience. Four years’ experience in management of custodian operations and shelf stocking in a grocery store with two of the four years with supervisory responsibilities; or Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field and six years’ experience in progressive management in custodial operations and shelf stocking in a grocery store with three of the six years with supervisory experience; or eight years with supervisory responsibilities.

Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; classified employees must pass a background check.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Diplomatic skills in conducting operations with Government counterpart, customers, and employee relations.

Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects.

Proven ability to multi take and work in a complex, rapidly changing environment.

Ability to work independently and as a flexible, active team member.

Possess or be able to acquire forklift certification.

Rate of Pay: $40,000 - $45,000 per year DOE.

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 pm – 3:30 am
