Job description

We currently have openings for part-time, experienced bartenders who are comfortable cross-training as a server. This job is available at the fine dining restaurant, The Farmhouse at Turkey Hill, located inside the main house of the Inn at Turkey Hill. The chosen candidate must be comfortable working in a detail-oriented, upscale dining establishment and able to communicate with our guests about menu choices and wine pairings. Typically you will work 3-4 shifts per week in a welcoming, small family-run restaurant. While working hours can vary, most shifts begin at 4pm and end by 11pm. This is a tipped position. Evening, Weekend, and Holiday availability is a must. Must be 18 years of age or older and PA RAMP certified.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• PA RAMP certified prior to the first day of work.
• Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Available 3 out of 4 weekends per month including Sundays.
• Excellent customer service skills focusing on guest satisfaction.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to carry medium to heavy trays, ice bins, etc.
• Professional and friendly attitude.
• Comfortable handling money.

Main responsibilities include:

• Bartend in a small service bar for the Farmhouse Fine Dining Restaurant serving classic mixed drinks and specialty cocktails with a small beer selection and larger wine selection including wines by the bottle.
• Provide service to all bar guests at the small 4-stool bar.
• Provide table service as needed to bar, restaurant, and patio tables.

• Restock supplies and maintain a clean bar through assigned side-work including additional cleaning, disinfecting due to COVID.

**This position is not located at the Turkey Hill Brewing Company.**
