Summary of Position:
Successful candidate reviews the foreign seller’s invoices or personal declaration documents submitted to John S. Connor by our customers for the purpose of determining the proper Harmonized Tariff Classification for entry of that shipment into the commerce of the United States.
- Have a good working understanding of how to use the Harmonized Tariff.
- Have a good understanding of other governmental agency regulations that require entry.
- Be able to determine if other government agencies are interested in commodity, such as Food & Drug, U.S.D.A., EPA, DOT, ATC, IRS, Fish & Wild Life, etc.

Requirements:Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required
- At least 1 – 3 years experience filing entries.
- A brokers license is helpful but not required.
