Position Summary:
Perform general labor functions within a high-speed metal container manufacturing plant. Cross train to other positions within the manufacturing plant.
Starting wage of $25.18 + shift differential and full benefits package including Teamsters medical/dental plan and 401k plan.
Essential Job Requirements:
Perform general labor functions, to include operating palletizers and de-palletizers, performing various clean-up tasks, sorting activities, relieve other operations and complete necessary paperwork for proper documentation, while following all safety and quality procedures.
Must have a current forklift driving certification or the ability to pass the certification test..
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Able to work any shift and on weekends.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
Read, write and comprehend at a high school level.
Abillity to follow instructions and be a team player.
Must be reliable and safety-oriented.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Previous experience driving a sit down forklift is a plus.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to pull, push, bend, climb and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
