Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Build a foundation of product knowledge through hands on training with product engineers and visiting our manufacturing facilities.
- Provide product selection and installation support and find creative solutions to customer issues.
- Assist R&D engineers in product development projects for all product groups.
- Collaborate with application engineers on relevant and skill level appropriate projects.
- Engage in Lean continuous improvement projects focused on engineering processes and product design
- Support product engineers and lab technicians on product and component testing
- Collaborate with application engineers focusing on product performance
Your background:
- Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree program from an accredited university in the United States
- Must be currently authorized to work for Dodge Industrial in the US
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving
- Collaborates well with others and is a good team player
- Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for new and changing ideas
- Familiar with MS Office and SolidWorks
- Ability to adapt and multi-task based on departmental needs
