Position Summary

Radiology Partners is looking for a Business Development Representative.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly sales and marketing plans that will grow referral sources & volume
  • Prepare, update & implement territory business plan
  • Present service features & benefits to clinical call points, using effective consultative sales techniques
  • Meet & exceed quota & sales objectives
  • Effective customer needs assessment and solution development
  • Maintain & increase existing referral sources & expand referral base through effective territory management
  • Account Planning & Management (including pre and post call planning), requires 8-10 in-person calls per day
  • Complete all administrative duties including required sales reports requested by management and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Exceptional follow up and service recovery ability. Work with center staff to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university OR 4-6 years of sales/marketing experience
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales reports and data to develop business plans to create effective strategies to increase referral volume
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to work both independently and collaboratively
  • The ability to build consultative relationships with advanced practice clinicians (physicians, NP’s, nurses), practice managers and referral coordinators to influence referral choice decisions
  • Ability to be engaged with Optimal centers, and to have a clear understanding and involvement in the referral process
  • Clear ability to work with a diverse range of customers
  • Demonstrated ability to promote concepts and ideas to create customer demand; excellent presentation skills & ability to engage audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
