We are currently seeking a Payer Follow Up for a full-time position.

We are looking for a unique candidate to join our payer follow up team. This team is responsible for timely and effective follow up on enrollment applications. The Enrollment follow up caller is a person that makes calls to external payer contacts following company guidelines to obtain payer statuses on all of our provider enrollments. This role will support enrollment follow up functions that contribute to effective and efficient turn around times for provider enrollment.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of enrollment processes and language.
  • Prepares reports, memos, letters, and other documents.
  • Reads and analyzes incoming requests, and distributes them as needed.
  • Files and retrieves enrollment follow-up data and records, documents, and reports.
  • Research data to prepare documents for review and presentation by directors, committees, and executives.
  • Uses various software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Provides general administrative enrollment support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Managed Care/Enrollment environment on the provider and/or payer side.
  • Working knowledge of Managed Care operations and procedures.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing business and technology needs.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently.
