JOB DESCRIPTION:
An individual whose duties are to make sure that each shift has the appropriate number of nurses working as well as nurses who are on-call. Their role in this position is to coordinate the staffing needs of the nursing department in an efficient and timely manner. Their duties may include, organizing the workflow, reading and routing correspondences, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers phones and emails
- Confirms appointments
- Scan, file, and manage paper documentation
- Print reports and distribute to appropriate individuals
- Inputs customer data into company systems
- Approving contracts with staffing agencies
- Coordination and attendance
- Create a nurse schedule in advance
- Checking time punch records
- Reviewing requests for time off
