Salary will range depending on the quality of the candidate. If willing to pay for the right candidate, the range will be $50,000 - $65,000+, depending on the candidate. The candidate will also be subject to a quarterly bonus plan of up to 10% of the candidate's annual bonus plan.


Senior Accountant
:

The Senior Account will perform various accounting and finance duties requiring initiative and independent judgment to provide relevant financial information and insightful analysis in support of the goals and objectives of the organization. This position will maintain internal controls and develop new procedures as appropriate to improve the security of company assets and operational efficiency. This position is critical in building accounting operations that will support our growth, including people, processes, and tools.


Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions.
  • Perform and complete the month-end closing process for all company entities.
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare internal financial statements.
  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process.
  • Assess current accounting operations, recommending improvement and implementing new processes.
  • Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.
  • Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting/bookkeeping staff.
  • Manage AP & AR processes.
  • Perform monthly banking reconciliations.
  • Improve internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, cost, team, and organizational budgets, and actual expenditures.
  • Work with other internal departments on key and workflow data processes.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
