VetMED is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon by fall/winter 2023 to join a 3-surgeon team at our established Specialty and Emergency hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, and Neurology as well as an experienced ER team, we offer a distinctive environment for cutting-edge surgery, a solid caseload, and a good work/life balance.
Our expansive surgical suites are fully equipped for soft tissue and advanced orthopedic surgery along with minimally invasive procedures and neurosurgery with Fluoroscopy, CT/MRI, scoping tower, top quality implants, total hip and interlocking nail systems, PRP and Shockwave therapy. Our strong team of surgery technicians is dedicated to the best in patient care, and access to a board-certified anesthesiologist allows for additional support when needed. We foster a strong relationship with local rehab specialists and oncologists for post-surgical care.
VetMED offers a positive, collaborative work environment in one of the most desirable locations in the US. Our combined 26,000 sq.ft medical campus receives a high caseload from a strong RDVM base and referrals from other ER/specialty hospitals. Our doctors receive generous PTO and CE allowances and support to practice efficient, high-quality medicine and surgery.
