Job description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing day-to-day academic support to the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s students in order to assist them in the completion of homework and to teach/promote their use of good study skills. The individual assists children in small groups and/or one on one with assignments in Math, Science, Social Studies, and other academic subjects, providing direction, clarity, and understanding. Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution is required; or a two (2) year vocational certification will be considered. A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working as Tutor, Instructional Aide or similar position is required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and youth. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages.

Pay: $23.80 - $25.21 per hour
